Guth nan Gàidheal (GnG) is a volunteer-run block of Scottish Gaelic and English Internet Radio programming, focusing on the Scottish Gaelic langauge, and the culture associated with it.
Starting Monday March 23rd, Hard To Port Radio will be replacing the weekday 10am US/Eastern Country Music show with a new “Americana” show, which will expand on the original theme to embrace Bluegrass, Folk, Country/Folk Blues and similar music.
We will be greatly expanding our catalogue for this program over the coming months, so be sure to listen in every day for established and breaking artists in these genres.
It’s the first day of spring… and it’s SNOWING here in Baltimore and pretty chilly to boot! Just when we thought that things were finally going to warm up, Mother Nature sneaks up and gives us a wedgie!
Not to worry though, because down south in Florida there’s always a warm welcome from our friends Cindy D’Adamo, Jen Andujar, Elena Tapia and Donna Bokar at LadyLake Music in Cape Coral.
“Positive people, Positive energy, Positive results!” isn’t just a slogan, it’s a way of life for these ladies who promise to do the very best for their artists.
In addition, they run the annual LadyLake Music Indie Awards, where the staff host these awards annually as their way to ‘pay it forward’ to the independent music community in thanks for their support throughout the years.
Check out their Reverbnation Site, where you can listen to music from artists in their roster, and follow their (very active) Facebook and Twitter feeds to keep up to date with everything these ladies are doing for their artists!
Many of their artists can be heard on HTPRs Indie Music shows; Monday-Friday 12pm-1pm and 10pm-Midnight.
Our friends up in NYC, Factory Fast Records, have been supplying us with some of the great Independent music you’ve been listening to on HTPR.
Their artist roster includes Love Child, Queen Bitch, Starkett Levee, The Deltorers, Finding Miranda, UVTraveler and Stab in the Dark – and that’s just a small selection of the artists they represent.
You can check out their full artist roster at their site: http://www.factoryfastrecords.co.nr/
